For over a decade, the BrownMill Block Party has been more than just an event—it’s been a movement. What started as a celebration of our store opening anniversary has evolved into one of the largest and most anticipated cultural festivals in Newark, bringing together over 10,000 attendees, 70+ local businesses, and an electric lineup of DJs, artists, and creatives.

Every year, we transform downtown Newark into a vibrant hub of music, fashion, food, and community empowerment. From high-energy DJ sets and live performances to family-friendly activations, a roller-skating rink, art installations, and exclusive pop-ups, the Block Party is where culture, commerce, and creativity collide.

Our mission? To empower small businesses, create economic opportunities, and provide an inclusive space where everyone—from local residents to global visitors—can come together to celebrate the spirit of Newark.
